My Background
Hi! I'm Tonya Williams, the owner of Rhapsody. In case you haven't been in to the shop, let me tell you a little about my background.
I've always had a passion to decorate and be in spaces that are inspiring, cozy, and aesthetically pleasing. My design career began two decades ago, and in 2004 I opened my own personal design firm. Ever since then, I dreamed of having a brick & mortar.
That's where it all began. In February of 2021, my family and I opened Rhapsody Interiors to the public. Opening during the pandemic was a leap of faith and it could not have happened without the support from all of you.
We have two loving labs (Xander, who most of you know; and our newest addition, Charlie).
I could not be more grateful for all the love and support that this community has given to us and I can't wait to see where this journey continues.
My Family
My family is an intricate part of my business and I couldn't do this without them. Before opening, my son hand built my cash-wrap, window box, and focus wall. My husband worked along side him and helped move furniture (more times than he wanted). And my daughter was my assistant designer, helping me make sure everything was perfect.
Outside of my business, they are busy with their jobs and school. Right now, my husband is working in the ER alongside my daughter, who is an EMT working there while starting nursing school. And my son manages an equestrian farm in Monroe.
My family shows me so much support and I am so thankful to have them by my side during this amazing journey in my life.
